  2. Human crossover: ethyl ester was among the lower-incorporation forms vs krill oil for plasma phospholipid EPA, though differences were not statistically significant. PubMed
  3. In a 6-month randomized trial, EPA/DHA from re-esterified triglycerides was reported to lower fasting serum triglycerides more than the same dose as ethyl esters, which did not show a significant change. PubMed
